McFly: 'New album will take us to another level'

McFly have described their new album as "amazing".

Danny Jones revealed that their new music feels "really organic" and that they have produced some of the best songwriting of their ten-year career.

"It's possibly the most exciting time for McFly right now," Jones told Digital Spy at the 'Rock Your Jeans' party for Jeans for Genes. "Not only do we have 10 years to celebrate, we've got 10 years to look forward to.

"We believe we're writing songs better than ever. The new album's amazing. It's really organic and it feels like you're in the room with us. It's McFly, but with a mature songwriting side to it. We've grown over 10 years and learnt a lot."

He added: "The amazing thing about McFly is we're able to try different things. We can go down the radio route or... we can rebel and go more rock, but this album is a happy medium.

"It's what we want to do. We're not playing any games. If we get radio play it'll be amazing, but everything we're doing right now is for us and our fans.

"We believe this album could take us to another place, another level."

McFly will play four headline shows at London's Royal Albert Hall between September 19 and 22 to celebrate their tenth anniversary.

According to Tom the new album will be out before Christmas. Not long after the new single 'Love is on the Radio' is released, as stated by Attitude Magazine:



Dougie tweeted they'll go to different countries including Argentina and THE NETHERLANDS! So hopefully a world tour is the next thing on their agendas. Feels so long ago since the last time we saw them live in Amsterdam. They'll probably announce this after the album is released.

McFly announce plans to live stream their concert on Saturday 21st September from Royal Albert Hall to celebrate their 10 year anniversary.

For £10, fans will have access to a special microsite where they can watch the multi camera live stream as well as enjoy exclusive videos and pictures.

A boyband skinny dipping epidemic has erupted after One Direction and McFly both revealed they like to take a dip in the buff when their girlfriends aren’t looking.

McFly say their racy streak on the beach ended badly, claiming their valuables got pinched.

‘We did in Barbados. We were on holiday, the four of us, with our other halves,’ confessed McFly’s Harry Judd.

‘Dougie was single at the time. And we met two couples, and we really got on with them. And when our girlfriends went home, we all went skinny-dipping in the sea.’

The quartet told gay mag Attitude how their birthday-suited stunt went horribly wrong when they had to hide on a pier from a security guard.

‘It back-fired actually that skinny-dip, because the security guard stole all my money. Whilst I was naked,’ said 25-year-old Dougie Poynter.

The incident still has 27-year-old Danny Jones cringing: ‘Do you remember when the security guard was looking for us, and we were lying flat down on the pier not moving, naked?’

To make the situation worse, singer Tom Fletcher, 28, added: ‘Harry peed on my leg... just random pissing.’
