McFly say they are the opposite of hard-living Rolling Stones

THERE’S no mistaking that McFly are hardly competitors for Sir Mick Jagger’s rock ’n’ roll crown but the pop band will go as far as saying they are the “opposite” of a hard-living rock band.

The Party Girl singers say now they are all settled they don’t indulge in anything stronger than a cup of tea after their performances.

Drummer Harry Judd, 27, says: “I can’t imagine there’s a less rock ’n’ roll band out there. Imagine a rock ’n’ roll band and we’re probably the opposite.’’

Harry’s wife Izzy, bandmate Tom Fletcher’s spouse Giovanna Falcone, Dougie Poynter’s girlfriend Lara Carew-Jones and Danny Jones’ fiancée Georgia Horsley all fly out to see the band while they’re on tour.

Harry told new! magazine: “Izzy would happily watch us every night.”

That Danny's fiancée part is obviously false. If they were engaged we would've definitely heard about it.

Thought I'd challenge myself and try to write a song in the quickest time possible. Get the old brain working. Not the best song in the world but hey ho, not bad for just after breakfast. Hope you like. It's called "I Hope You're Feeling Great".
