About the band McFly were formed in 2003 and their debut album, Room on the 3rd Floor, went straight to No 1 in the UK charts, breaking the Guinness record for the youngest band ever to have a debut No 1 album. In total, McFly have had an astonishing seven No 1 singles, five platinum and gold albums and have won a BRIT Award for Best International Pop Act. They tour all over the world and are currently recording their sixth album, due for release in spring 2013. About the book Prepare to meet the real McFly... In 2003, Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter came together and formed what would become one of the most popular and successful bands in the UK. Just teenagers at the time, they were catapulted into the limelight and had to adapt quickly to their new-found fame – and everything that came with it. Now, at last, they have decided to tell their story, in full and revealing detail. Speaking with candour and their trademark humour, Tom, Danny, Harry and Dougie share both the stories of their own lives and that of McFly. They give their personal insights into their contrasting childhoods, the individual paths that led them to the band, the struggles they have each overcome, their love lives and, of course, their music. Packed with previously untold stories, a lot of laughter and the occasional tear, Unsaid Things offers a privileged look into the lives of four guys who started out as bandmates and became best friends. Their unique camaraderie radiates from every page and by the end of the book, you’ll know them almost as well as they know each other... To report a bug, or leave feedback for the developers, email mcflyapp@randomhouse.co.ukThe app will be available in the Apple App Store and you can get it on Google Play. According to the Random House site, the app will cost £ 1,42. We're not sure when this app will be released, but probably when the book's out. We hope the app will be available for worldwide users, but we'll let you know as soon as we hear more about this app. Dougie and Tom's book The Dinosaur That Pooped Christmas will be available as book, but also as e-book. Floynter recorded this audio earlier this year (July to be exact). As we posted on our Twitter account, their publisher released some video's when they were recording the audio. (You'll hear some lines we posted earlier on our Twitter account) "Next Tuesday Mcfly will be filming their video for their brand new single ‘Love Is Easy’ and we’re inviting you to be a part of it. Come on down and join us on the video shoot, bring your friends and bring your homemade banners. To confirm your attendance, drop us an email over at webmaster@mcfly.com. You’ll need to be over 14, and able to get yourselves (and your banner!) to our super secret location in South West London for 5pm on Tuesday 9th October and be available until roughly 8pm - however it could run late so please be prepared."New photos ![]() ![]() ![]() |
