The weeks really seem to have flown by haven't they? As you might've noticed we were enjoying some time away from our computers and enjoying the sunshine outside. Next week our universities and internships start again, so we'll be officially back in our digital offices to update the mission:MCFLY website on a regular basis.

It seems we didn't miss that much the last two weeks (we were surprised too), but we managed to gather news to make an update with. Here are the highlights from the last two weeks:

Earlier this month BBC aired a show called the 'BBC 999 Awards' to recognise the tireless work of the UK's emergency service heroes. These awards acknowledge the heroic acts that the officers and volunteers of the emergency services perform on a daily basis, highlighting individuals and teams whose actions have exceeded the call of duty to help save lives and ensure the public's safety. Together with Chelsee Healey, Harry Judd was asked to present an award to Garry Clark from Dungeness RNLI:


In our last update we mentioned McFly playing Z-Festival. McFly have officially confirmed this news. Super City said:

The band will be headlining on both 28th September (Rio De Janeiro Arena HSBC) and 29th September (São Paulo Arena Anhembi) alongside other massive names including The Wanted, Yellowcard and Demi Lovato.

McFly will be playing in Rio on the 28th and will be performing in Sao Paulo on the 29th. For more information or info on the tickets go to livepass.com.br/z-festival. Some other new articles:

A few days ago we recieved a tweet from ITV's 'Surprise Surprise' saying the show is back on television and you can nominate worthy fans to meet their idols. If you know someone who deserves a surprise - no matter how big or small - you can nominate them by downloading the application form. Seeing as they tweeted loads of different fansites, you can send in applications for basically every band or artist. Little note: You can't nominate yourself. And last but not least, Dutch news site NU.nl wrote an article about One Direction and included McFly in the title. We know it's about One Direction and they made some mistakes in the update, but how have we missed this?
