Out of our minds and out of time...

Yay it's Tom's 27th birthday today. We hope he has an amazing day, but we're pretty sure he will after seeing a few of his fantastic presents (check our gallery or Tom's twitter to check out what we're talking about).

Heatworld does Hard Rock Calling: Lawson and McFly gossip

If you've been following our totally over-excited tweets this weekend, you'll know we've spent the last couple of days ankle-deep in mud and wood chip, listening to some rocky sorts (ahem Bruce Springsteen, we mean you) at London's Hard Rock Calling festival.

They weren't our usual pop-thing, we know. But we also did some celeb-spotting from the backstage VIP Hard Rock Cafe - and although Prince Harry didn't show up and leave us open-mouthed at his ability to down several tequila shots in a small space of time, we did spot a lot of hot boys yesterday... from two gorgeous bands - Lawson and McFly (result!).

Then, just when Lawson disappeared and we thought we’d lost our boy- fix for the day, we bumped into Dougie Poynter and Danny Jones from McFly - who were having a rare festival day out with their gorgeous girlfriends Lara Carew-Jones and Georgia Horsley.

And guess what? Dougie, Danny, Lara and Georgia invited us to get our dance on to headliner Bruce Springsteen with them! We didn’t say no...

In between dancing like loons to ‘The Boss’, we nabbed Dougie for a quick chat - and he told us just how excited the boys were for the year ahead.

"We've been working on our autobiography," he explained. "There's so much to do but it will be ready in the next few months.

"And Tom and I have written a book for kids as well, which is out later this year. There's so much happening.

"The end of this year will be busy for McFly, it's going to be really great! We have a US tour to prepare for too."

Busy boys, they will be. And they’ve got bandmate Harry Judd’s wedding to plan too...

Danny told us that while he and Dougie were dad-rocking to Bruce, the other half of McFly were off doing grown-up things. Tom Fletcher was at a pal's wedding with new wife Giovanna and Harry was off planning his own wedding to Izzy Johnston.

So it won't be long before the plans are set and we can grill the boys about their stag do plans for McFly Marriage Number Two. We'll start making a list of questions now...

Danny McFly on Harry Styles: 'We're Quite Good Friends – We'll See What Happens'

Harry Styles is the subject of much lady love, but some of his admirers are a little more manly.

McFly member Danny Jones told reporters from the Metro who were at Hard Rock Calling that he thought Harry had a certain something.

“As a guy, he's got the hair, he's got the smile, he's got the voice, he's in one of the biggest bands in the world, that's obviously attractive.”

Put it like that, Danny, and we can't see how anyone in the world wouldn't fancy Mr Styles!

Danny added “We've just written a song for One Direction, so we'll see what happens with that. We're quite good friends.”

We'd love to hear what the Fab Four have written for the Famous Five, but we're a bit concerned about Danny's bandmade Harry Judd. Does this mean that he's no longer Danny's favourite Harry?
