Tom Fletcher secret project revealed + more!

We look completely different (yay new lay out, like some of you asked for in the online survey we did a couple days ago) and it might be difficult for you to see our tweets now that we're no longer sporting the turquoise profile picture - so we apologise for that! But let us know what you think of our new look! We've also gotten rid of some other things and will be adding more and new things soon; we're working on it.

Yesterday while we were aimlessly scrolling our tumblr dashboard (here here) our eye fell on a picture that Charlie posted.

Now we do realise that this is The Sun who posted this, which makes it difficult not to doubt the credibility of the article, but we're fairly sure that this one is true. We know Tom is an amazing songwriter and that he's constantly writing for other bands and has a million secret projects going on (just because he stopped tweeting about them doesn't mean they've gone away) so it's highly likely that Tom's music writing skills will now hit the big screen.

EDIT We just remembered Tom saying something about writing a movie musical in the Keep Calm And Play Louder tour book. Look what he said: 'I have been writing a movie musical... With four people, including my sister. I can't say what it's about but it's been signed to a production company so we'll start filming it soon'. Exciting huh?

If anyone has been paying attention to Twitter recently, and mainly Harry Judd, Danny Jones, Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter’s accounts, then you’ll be aware that McFly have started work on their sixth album!

We got a little overexcited (and even considered doing a little rock ‘n roll fistpump) when we found out that McFly would be releasing new music sometime soon and it would seem that, judging from their tweets, the lads are excited too.

Well, Tom’s tweet was very informative and Dougie’s tweet was tinged with sadness at the fact that he’s not feeling 100%:

LOVE IT.

Another thing, which we did post about on Twitter, but haven't yet posted on the website, is that Harry will be playing 'Million Pound Drop' and that one lucky member of the public (and not a celebrity or an actual close friend of Harry) will get the chance to be his team mate. The Million Pound Drop makes its return tonight with ten brand new shows over the space of five consecutive weekends on Channel 4.

Once again this series, we will see some celebrity duos taking on the drop in hopes of bagging a big cash prize for their chosen charities. Kicking off the new series this evening was property gurus, Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer!

However, for the first time in drop history, one of the upcoming celebrities is without a partner and you could be filling that void!

The celebrity in question is McFly‘s Harry Judd who was announced during this evening’s show. To be in with a chance of playing alongside Harry live on Channel 4, you can apply via The Million Pound Dropwebsite.
