So much pressure to prevail...

First of all, thank you all so much for joining our Glee mission tag game. We've been amazed by the amount of people joining in (even the Super City webmaster joined us) and we love you for it. Actually, it still seems to go on. We're afraid we've created a never ending Twitter tag game!

No matter what you think of Glee or the songs on the show, it would create great opportunities for McFly and their (USA) fans! Fingers crossed things will work out. Harry’s latest Blackpool flame
Blackpool Gazette

A STANDING ovation and huge cheers welcomed Strictly Come Dancing champions Harry Judd and Aliona Vilani as they waltzed their way into Blackpool Tower’s Ballroom with the Olympic torch.

As the final torchbearers of the day, Harry, drummer in boyband McFly, and professional dancer Aliona showed off their graceful dance moves on the ballroom floor while still clinging to the famous beacon.

The excitable crowd cheered and clapped as the dancers, dressed all in white, performed to Queen’s We Are the Champions before lighting the cauldron.

Harry said: “What an honour. Thank you everyone for being here to watch us and thanks for letting us do that for you.”

An evening celebration at the Tower Festival Headland, featuring singer Katy B, had to be cancelled due to horrendous weather conditions.

Blackpool Council took the decision because safety of spectators and performers.

But residents who had packed into the ballroom enjoyed entertainment from dance crew FY WestCoast and a disco before the arrival of the torch.

Mayor of Blackpool, Coun Sylvia Taylor, said: “Blackpool never lets the weather stop it from partying.

“My congratulations to all those who have been chosen to carry the torch. We are very proud of you.”

Jess Holbrook, 19, from central Blackpool, said: “It’s been brilliant.

“Harry’s dancing was gorgeous and it was amazing to see him.”
