Glee Mission results
Hey everyone!
Firstly, we want to thank each and everyone of you that has spent their evening spamming the internet. Each and every tweet, message, wall post and ask you have sent has helped us! To see how many people were involved was overwhelming (we were sat next to each other on the sofa, spamming and watching you guys spam and were literally amazed at the number of people going absolutely crazy)! Especially the people who were at the actual McFly gig, but found time to tweet and RT us - thank you so much! You've no idea how amazing you guys are!
The ammount of RTs and new followers has absolutely blown our minds.
For everyone who thinks that we failed this mission - we absolutely didn't. We got quite a large number of Glee fans, searching the internet to find out who McFly are, and shortly after, joining in with the mission. Next to that, our twitition went over 1000 (our initial goal for the night) and is slowly gaining more and more signatures. This is amazing back-up!
Just because the Glee camp is silent about our tweets, messages and e-mails doesn't mean they haven't noticed us. We've had this happen before - we've done spam missions to get McFly into magazines and hadn't heard of them... yet a couple of weeks later, a double page spread of McFly appeared in the said magazine. So if you feel like we've failed this glee mission - this is definitely not the case! Keep faith, because we are very optimistic.
We want to thank every fansite, and especially every Glee fansite who has RT'd and posted about the glee mission - you have been of GREAT help! Also a special thank you to the fansites and people on twitter who kept going when @mission_mcfly went over their hourly tweet limit (TWICE!) which meant that we weren't able to officially end the mission. Without you this would've flopped big time, and we're so glad it didn't.
Right now we are discussing if there is anything else we can do to follow this up. If you have any creative ideas on what to do (something that's DIFFERENT from what we've done yesterday) let us know! You can contact us via e-mail, and of course via twitter and we also read everything you post on our facebook page. Once we know how to follow this mission, we'll plan it out and it'll at least take another month (from the moment that we know what to do) until we do something else - just so you know.

Look at that huh? One of the fansites joining in on the Glee mission got tweeted by one of the Glee producers. Go team! Let's hope this turns out the way we want it to!
