McFly book, McFly as judges and a Jessie J collab?

Of course, besides all the spoilers, there's also regular news!!

McFly pine for Jessie J collaboration
source
McFly have admitted once more that they would love to work with Jessie J.
The band had previously sung her praises and picked her as their dream collaboration.
And, speaking to the Daily Star, McFly's Danny Jones reiterated their Jessie J desire, admitting she is high on their wishlist once they start recording their new album. Speaking about their new material, Jones said:
"I know what the boys want, and everything we're doing is sounding right and the songs are there. We can't start recording until June 'cos Harry's on the Strictly tour. Once we get everything ready we'd love to get anybody who'd like to collaborate on it. When we were recording the last album with Dallas Austin, Jessie popped in and cooked us a bit of dinner so it would be cool to get her."
It's not been all plain sailing for McFly recently, with Tom Fletcher managing to dislocate his shoulder after a spot of promotional rugby with the Saracens team.

McFly get accosted by 400 women!

Now we didn't really need any extra confirmation on how hot those McFly fellas are, but it seems this little tale just verifies what we knew the whole time... Women love McFly.
In fact, women love Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter, Harry Judd and Danny Jones so much that about 400 of them decided to turn up to the IndigO2 in London last night, just to see their idols make a mad dash from the building to their car (and to obviously smother them in love, kisses and camera lenses)
The McFly fellas were of course there for other reasons (although we're sure they enjoyed that fan love). The boys were actually in town to do their very best Simon Cowell impressions and be on the judging panel for an exciting competition called the Next BRIT Thing 2012, where they had to pick three talented artists from a nationwide search for brand new musical talent. They were joined on the panel by the fabulous classical singer Laura Wright and some other important musical bods.
And the boys did a great job of it - they hand-picked the three winners (Paul Shevlin, Sarah Gardner and Floodliners) after a delicious Nandos dinner fuelled them up for the night... Of course it was lucky they didgrab a chicken burger or two beforehand because when the boys finally did leave the building, they chose to thoughtfully stop for a "considerable amount of time" to take pictures with fans, sign autographs and generally be nice. Aw!

Next up, you might have been wondering why #mcflybook is trending on twitter right now... here's why:

McFly to release memoir on rise to fame
source
McFly have signed a deal to release a book on their rise to fame.
The memoir, to be released through Transworld Publishers, will chart the journey of Harry Judd,Dougie Poynter, Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher from their early days sharing a house in Finchley to becoming the youngest band ever to reach number one with their debut album.

The book is promised to be "a frank, funny and original insight into the lives of one of the UK's best-loved bands", through which readers "will get to know the men behind McFly in a way they never thought they would".

A release from Transworld continues: "It will include surprising tales of growing up in the limelight and the euphoric highs and desperate lows along the way.
"But, more than that, it will shine a light on what it takes to make it to the top and stay there for nine years, all told in their unique and inimitable style."
Further details, including the book's title, publication date and cover art, will be released shortly.
McFly are scheduled to begin their 30-date 'Keep Calm and Play Louder' UK tour in Sheffield on March 18.
