Tom's dad-jokes make us feel fuzzy inside

So in our previous update we mentioned a mission we should maybe start about getting Glee to cover a McFly song. We've been chatting about this on twitter and it's unbelievable how many of you are showing your support - both fans and other McFly fansites are excited to help! TOM, WE’VE MISSED YOU. LET’S GO LOOKING FOR BELLY BUTTON CRUMBS TOGETHER.

Last year we proudly hailed Tom Fletcher of McFly our favourite celebrity Tweeter.
If we were feeling low Tom was there with his reassuring dad-jokes. When we were looking to have life’s more profound questions answered he’d be there with his sock ponderings; and when we wanted new words he gave us “bloobs”. 

But then something happened, Tom’s tweets suddenly became less geeky and turned kind of cool. What was the reason behind the change in tone? Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd’s reality TV wins? Or, as we suspected, did he have a ghost tweeter – someone tweeting on his behalf to make him sound cooler? 

Well whatever the phase he went through was we’re happy to say that as of 2012 he’s well and truly out of it and back to the #craptweets that we all know and love. 

So let's go on a journey so profound that you might come out the other side a different person. 

"Do you halve your sandwiches width ways or diagonally? I'm a width guy usually but went diagonal today."
"People who don't halve their sandwiches at all are not to be trusted."
"When I type the word "knee" I pronounce the K in my head."
"It's really annoying. I also do it with the letter D in "Wednesday""
"I can never remember if it's Mcdonalds or Macdonalds. Are we Mcfly or Macfly?"
"No way is it February...which, by the way, has the most ridiculous spelling. Whoever decided to spell it like that should...spell better...?"
"Just had a comedy moment with my cab driver where I said the word "right" meaning *correct, but he took it to mean *turn right."
"Don't toilet attendants need the loo all the time? Just walking past the gents makes me need a pee."
"I might start my wedding speech with "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...."" 

Thank you Tom, we honestly feel that our days are a little brighter for reading those tweets. We do quite love you.
