Super City version two is online. We've asked our Twitter followers the question: "Super City V2.0, hot or not?" Sadly enough a lot of you said NOT. The new Super City is clearly even more confusing as the last time.

We emailed Sandbag today about renewals for Annual Super City members. This is the reply we got:

Please note that renewals for Annual Super City members who signed up on October 1st 2010 do not start until 1st November 2011. If you signed up in October 2011 your Annual account will not expire until 1st November 2011. You will be emailed a renewal notice with clear instructions as to how to renew your membership soon. Please do not email regarding how to do this as you will have clear instructions sent to you shortly.

Explanation of new member types on Super City:
- Basic – Same as Tourist – Free account with profile, but no access to main content.
- Monthly - £6 and $9 (same as first year as already agreed)
- Annual - £40 pounds and $65 (i.e. continuing the 40 pounds from first year)
- Annual Plus - £69 (29 pound upcharge from annual) UK ONLY

Our colleagues from McFly Metro started a petition against the price of the Annual Plus accounts. It's basically the same as an Annual account, except you get Meet & Greets each summer, 25% Super City store discount instead of 15% and apparently you get pre-sales for McFly concert tickets. This makes us wonder: Wasn't that what we got last year as Annual Pioneer? Why is the Annual Plus UK only and do we still get the same things like last year? If you'd like to protest, go here and sign the petition!

In any other news, Tom just Tomblr'd a photograph of him with One Direction (it's somewhere in our September gallery album).. But he also said something very interesting:
