Off topic secret business!
Excuse us for the upcoming mega long update. It's full of speculation about something that hasn't anything to do with McFly... which seems silly (we're a McFly website, do'h) but is none the less quite interesting.
After Tom's teasing tweet that read "Listening to @LittleFletcher doing some of the best vocal takes I've ever heard!" our minds have triggered many questions. We've started thinking about this secret project Tom's been working on for three years and how this might be completely and only about his sister's carreer. We've done the requered research and look what we stumbled upon... What you need to know is that Antony (@Brantanamo) has also been present at the studio trips Tom has been making, as well as Carrie obviously. These three have had more up their sleeves, and we're about to take you back in time to show you what we're on about. Whenever someone were to ask Carrie about her 'job' she would always answer, telling us about this "Evil Genius" she worked for but never really said more than that. On the 20th of August, she tweeted "Somehow everyone at work has turned up wearing red! All of us! So odd!" which would mean that this studio adventure with Tom and Ant is her work. This is actually her job. Keep this in mind. Carrie, however, is not recording her own album. When someone asked her if she was, she replied "I wish! xxx" which either is a very weird way of saying "I have always dreamed of recording my own album and I am actually doing it right now but I am not allowed to tell you so I'm going to state that this is indeed my wish, but I can't tell you that it's come true already" (which is unlikely) or just means that she really wants to and hasn't had the chance to yet. Let's say we're going with the latter and she really isn't recording her own album. Carrie left school at the age of 16. She is now 18. You would think that this would change everything since Tom said he's been working on this secret project for three years. But! There's a but. When asked on tumblr why Carrie decided to leave school at the age of 16 and get a job, Carrie answered: 'I didn’t really decide. I was offered a job during my last year at school and it was a once in a lifetime thing so i followed my heart and went for it!' She was offered a job during her last year at school which links up perfectly with Tom's tweet. Now, back to this Evil Genius guy. Here's what we know of him: - He is very Top Secret. - He is not as evil as he'd like to think because he's actually a pretty nice guy. - He never really wanted to be an Evil Genius, because 'the job chose him'. - He lets Carrie work whenever she is needed, she is his right hand woman. - He has had Carrie as an employee before she even finished school. These are all facts that have been taken from Carrie's tumblr page and are all things that she herself has answered to questions about her job and this evil genius person. We think it might be Tom or Antony, but somehow that seems a bit too easy. Our search continues... In April 2011, Carrie traveled to Los Angeles to work on "her own project". She was there with Antony (because these two are definitely involved in the same secret project here) and "the gang" (whoever they might be). They were there purely for a couple of long exhausting meetings and flew back after only two nights there. Then, on the 25th of May, Tom was asked if McFly were to record a song with a female voice, who he'd like it to be and he answered " hmmm, that's tough. #HonestAnswer I like Ellie Goulding's voice. Or my sister! ;)". Following this, on the 16th of June Tom and Carrie had a bit of a writing session together. When asked, Carrie clearly stated that she won't be singing on any McFly songs - the thing that she has going on is completely seperate from McFly. Wheter this is related to the whole What's-Going-On-With-Carrie subject or not, Tom and Dougie have been writing a Christmas song (as Tom has stated on his twitter). We're never sure to take things like this serious or not, but just in case... keep it at the back of your minds. If you have any more tips or if you think you know what's going on here, let us know! Contact us on twitter, facebook, e-mail- heck, send us a pigeon if you want. We don't mind! That would actually be pretty exciting... |
