McFly tickets: the REAL story.

Rumour has it McFly's returning to Amsterdam. In case you missed all yesterdays tweets, here's the story:

According to the website Fanatix McFly's playing a concert in the Melkweg, on the 28th of December 2011. Thing is, there's NOTHING on Super City or Ticketservice website and there are TWO other bands registered on the site of the venue Melkweg to play on the 28th. This means that if this doesn't change, there's no change McFly are playing on the 28th of December.

For some reason, you can only buy 8 tickets at once at the Fanatix website and there are only 88 tickets available. Which seems a bit odd, knowing the Melkweg can fit 700 fans in one of the concerthalls, and 1500 in the other.

Also, Pascale tried to buy tickets for the gig. Just to see what exactly is going on. Conclusion: If you try to buy McFly tickets from Fanatix, you will automatically buy tickets for Tanzwut (the band that's playing that night at the Melkweg). DO NOT buy McFly tickets from the Fanatix website, because they are not for a McFly gig! We wished they really were coming though :(

We've emailed the Melkweg, and we'll keep you up to date via our website or Twitter account as soon as we get a reply!


Edit (12PM): We got a reply from the Melkweg saying that they don't know anything about a McFly concert in the future (yet). So please DO NOT buy tickets from Fanatix!
